Back on August 17, 2026, we had our online quiz with Sir Baroro covering Chapter 2: Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Before actually opening the quiz link, he was kind enough to give us a 30-minute grace period to do some last-minute reading. Everyone scrambled to review the core concepts—skimming through notes on ICT components, hardware, software, networks, information systems, and cloud computing. That quick half-hour went by incredibly fast, but it definitely helped refresh our memory.
Once the timer started, the focus shifted, but things quickly got pretty stressful. Our online testing system was incredibly strict, and mid-way through, a lot of my classmates suddenly got locked out. Apparently, the platform detected some “unusual behavior”—things like accidental tab switching or minor screen glitches that the system flagged as unauthorized. Panic definitely started to set in for a bit. Thankfully, Sir Baroro was super understanding about the technical hiccups. He manually unlocked their accounts and gave them a second chance to finish up. However, he did give us a strict warning right after: he made it clear that he won’t be letting this slide during the actual Midterm examination, so we really need to make sure our setups are good by then.
Because of all that chaos, it took about an hour for everyone to finally wrap up. Hitting that final submit button brought a massive wave of relief across the class. Sir Baroro originally intended to transition straight into Chapter 3 right after, but since he had some urgent matters to attend to, the new discussion had to be postponed. Even with the schedule change, it still felt like a highly productive day. We managed to survive the technical drama, solidify our understanding of Chapter 2, and get a realistic wake-up call for the midterms.
