July 27 started like an ordinary class day, but things quickly became serious when Sir Baroro announced that we would have a quiz about Module 1. Some of us were surprised because a few classmates had missed the previous discussion and were not aware of the quiz. Some of my classmates were also absent due to personal reasons, so not everyone was able to take the quiz with us. Before starting, Sir Baroro gave us time to review the lessons and prepare. Afterward, we began the 32-item quiz, which included 20 multiple-choice questions and essay questions. We were given almost two hours to finish, but the running timer made the activity feel more stressful. The multiple-choice part was manageable, while the essays required more thinking because we had to explain our answers clearly.
The online platform also made the quiz more challenging because we were only allowed three warnings. Reaching the third warning would automatically lock the quiz, and only Sir Baroro could unlock it. He could also see what caused the quiz to be locked. Some classmates received warnings because their phones suddenly made a sound, while others accidentally triggered the system by long-pressing the screen or pressing the back button. Because of this, everyone became extra careful with every click and movement. The essay section was especially difficult because we had to understand the questions, organize our thoughts, and manage our time while watching the countdown.
After submitting our final answers, the tension finally disappeared. We were able to relax and share stories about the moments that made us nervous during the quiz. Although the activity was stressful, it became an unforgettable class experience. It taught us that quizzes are not only about knowing the lessons but also about staying calm, being careful, and managing our time wisely until the very end.
