Before the 2nd CHARTS International Conference, our class BPA-3A was choosen as part of technical committee in which we will be handling the livestream of the said event. Sir Baroro, our instructor gave instructions on this three days event in regards with what materials we need to prepare such as tripod, cellphones, and other matters. Days before the event, sir Baroro said that the first day will only choose eight (student from the class, two (2) members from each of the four (4) groups. Leigh Sandra Aton and Lester V. Enghog was choosen as a representative for our group on the Day 1 of the 2nd CHARTS International Conference in which they will be part of the Day 1 technical team.

Before the first day of the event, we were told to be early in the school since we will be using the BISU bus to go to the event place on the first day, which is the Tagbilaran Capitol Building. When we arrived at the place, the participants are still waiting for the event to start and we just sit in the side for a while, waiting for the instruction that sir Baroro will give. A few moment, we a preparing the divide the either student into 3, one group (composing of 3 members) on each side, assigned for live coverage, and one group (composed of 2 members) for the assistance in main technical matters.

The event starts with the prayer, followed by, Bohol Hymn, and Tagbilaran Hymn. After that, the event host introduced the participants and other individuals who are present today. Throughout the morning, the speakers delivers their presentation very well and it is delightful to be part of this wonderful experience.

Each side who operates the camery to record the live rotate devices regularly, charging the used ones while replacing them with fresh ones to keep the stream uninterrupted. Even though we only their for the task and that is to maintain the livestream, we believe that it will be a great opportunity to listen and get a wonderful insight from all the presentation presents by the speakers.

One of the greatest moment also is to witness the BISU Chorale to preform in the event. They give a their beautiful voices in which it echoes in the four cornes of room, giving us a goosebumps as they hamonize to sing the song “Paraiso”.

During the afternoon, we still continue our task in moving and adjusting camera for the livestream since there are instances that the speakers talk to one place to another, so we adjust the camera according to the situation. As the event continuous, we also feel sleepy in the afternoon because of tiredness but we are still greatful to be part of this one of a kind event and experience this in our life.

The first day of the event was a meaningful and memorable experience for us because we were given the opportunity to be part of the technical team responsible for the livestream. At first, we thought our task would only involve operating and adjusting the cameras, but as the event continued, we realized that there was more to the experience than simply completing our assigned responsibilities. We had to work together, communicate with one another, manage the equipment properly, and make sure that the livestream continued without interruption. This experience taught us the importance of teamwork, responsibility, patience, and attentiveness.

Aside from performing our assigned tasks, we also learned a lot by listening to the speakers and witnessing their different presentations. One of the moments we enjoyed the most was watching the BISU Chorale perform โ€œParaiso.โ€ Their beautiful voices and harmonious performance created a memorable atmosphere and made us appreciate the talents of our fellow students. Although we became tired and sleepy during the afternoon, we continued performing our responsibilities because we understood that our role was important to the success of the event.

This experience taught us that even behind-the-scenes tasks can make an important contribution to an event. It helped us develop practical skills in handling equipment, cooperating with others, and staying responsible even when we were already tired. We are grateful for the opportunity to participate because we gained not only experience in livestreaming and technical work but also valuable lessons that we can apply in future activities. This experience reminded us that every role, whether big or small, matters when people work together toward one goal.

Before the start of the Day 2 Charts International Conference and as per instruction by Sir Baroro, all of the student of BPA – 3A class will be divided into three areas, The Multimedia Room, the Board Room, and the Learning Resource Center. Each of these areas has its own responsibility and tasks but it has one goal of continuing the livestream of the said event.

Before Day 2 of the conference, we went to school to check the room assigned to us. We made sure to check every corner of the room, including the CR, floor, chairs, and other areas, to see if everything was clean and properly arranged. We wanted to make sure that the place would be comfortable and presentable for the guests who would be attending the conference.

On the day of the conference, we woke up early and arrived at school even earlier than the call time. We immediately started arranging the chairs and fixing anything that could be improved to make the room more pleasant and comfortable for everyone. As the guests started arriving one by one, we became nervous and a little pressured because we did not know if we would be able to perform our assigned tasks well. Some of us were first-timers, so there was a feeling of uncertainty, but at the same time, we were excited to experience something new.

Before the conference started, we talked among ourselves about our respective assignments. Some were assigned to handle the camera and documentation, someone was responsible for the timer, while others stayed attentive and focused on what was happening throughout the conference. We constantly checked on each other and tried our best to make sure that everything went smoothly. Even though we were nervous, we slowly became more comfortable as the program continued.

The conference did not start exactly at 8:00 in the morning and ended around 11 mid. Although it was only a half-day conference, it gave us many valuable lessons and experiences. The speakers were very insightful and knowledgeable in their presentations, and we were amazed by the way they communicated their ideas and shared their experiences. Being able to listen to inspiring speakers and experience the actual process of assisting in a conference was truly wonderful.

Before the event started in the Board Room, we helped prepare the venue by setting up a new table for the personnel assigned at the entrance. Their role was to welcome the guests and assist participants who needed instructions or information about the event.

The event began with a prayer, followed by the singing of hymns and the BISU Hymn. Afterward, the speakers presented their respective topics. Although our main responsibility was to livestream the event, we also took the opportunity to listen to the presentations and gain new knowledge and insights.

The topics presented included โ€œSalt of the Earth: Asin Tibuok and the Challenges of Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage in Bohol,โ€ โ€œManunggul Jar as a Vessel of History: An Archaeological Reading of the Manunggul Jar,โ€ โ€œSpace and Identity: Pre-War Malabon Market,โ€ and โ€œThe Cultural System of Asin Tibuok Towards Sustainable Development.โ€

These presentations gave us meaningful insights into the rich history and cultural heritage of the Philippines, especially in Bohol. We learned that there are many traditions, historical artifacts, and cultural practices in our country that we can be proud of and should continue to preserve. After the presentations, we were assigned to distribute snacks to all the participants of the Day 2 Conference in their respective areas.

After the event, we helped clean the Board Room and made sure that everything was properly arranged and that no things or materials were left behind before we went home.

We consider this experience as a meaningful for us because it allowed us to experience working together in preparing and managing the venue. Throughout the event, we learned how important it is to keep the place organized, assist the participants, and make sure everything runs smoothly. Also by listening from those inspiring presentors is valuable to us because it’s amazing to witness how they share their experiences to all individual participate in the event.

The 2nd CHARTS International Conference was a meaningful experience because we had the opportunity to participate as working staff assigned to the LRC. Throughout the sessions, we were given different responsibilities to help make sure that the conference would run smoothly. Being part of the LRC allowed us to experience what it was like to contribute to an event while working together as a team. We had to be attentive to what was happening around us and be ready to assist whenever needed. It was also an opportunity for us to learn more about the different roles involved in organizing and managing a conference. Although we were working behind the scenes, we realized that our presence and efforts were still an important part of making the event organized and successful.

Some of us were assigned to monitor the speakersโ€™ time, making sure that each speaker stayed within the allotted time. Others were responsible for assisting with the livestream, cameras, tripods, and other technical equipment. We also helped guide the guests and distribute snacks to the participants and speakers. Although our tasks were different, each responsibility was important to the success of the conference. We learned that organizing an event requires teamwork, cooperation, and responsibility. Even simple tasks can make a big difference when everyone does their part. The experience also helped us become more attentive and responsible when working with others.

During our respites, we also had the opportunity to listen to and learn from the different topics presented throughout the conference. The thought-provoking studies shared by the speakers gave us new insights and encouraged us to think more deeply about the topics being discussed. We were also able to listen to the questions raised during the open forum and learn from how the professionals answered each one. Their responses provided different perspectives and helped us better understand the issues and ideas presented during the sessions.

Being part of the LRC team during the Chart Conference was a valuable experience for all of us. It allowed us to see what happens behind the scenes of an event and taught us the importance of teamwork, time management, and being willing to help wherever needed.

Our experience during the second day of the 2nd CHARTS International Conference was meaningful because it allowed us to be part of the technical committee and experience what happens behind the scenes of an event. As students assigned to different areas, we had different responsibilities such as operating cameras, maintaining the livestream, monitoring the speakersโ€™ time, preparing the venue, assisting guests, distributing snacks, and organizing the rooms.

At first, some of us felt nervous and unsure because we were handling responsibilities that we had not experienced before but as the event continued, we became more comfortable and learned how important teamwork, communication, patience, attentiveness, and responsibility are. We also learned that every task, whether big or small, contributes to making an event organized and successful.

Aside from our technical and organizational responsibilities, the conference also gave us an opportunity to learn from the speakers and appreciate Philippine culture and heritage. These presentations gave us new knowledge and made us realize the importance of preserving our history and traditions.

To end, this conference was a valuable experience that helped us develop practical skills, gain knowledge, and appreciate the importance of cooperation and dedication. It reminded us that successful events are made possible not only by the speakers and organizers but also by the people working behind the scenes.
